Last weekend my grandmother and I headed to the Greenbrier Resort where my mom and her students were participating in a culinary competition. With roots all the way back in 1778, the Greenbrier is a national treasure. It's well-known for it's extravagant patterns and interior design, and is so fun to photograph! Then we headed to downtown Lewisburg for a quick lunch at the Wild Bean...all vegan/vegetarian food, awesome! Very delicious!
See me and Mammol there in the front?
There are so many gorgeous chandeliers at the Greenbrier!
How Gatsby is this pool?
World-famous Greenbrier truffles. The dark chocolate was heaven!
Watts Roost Vineyard has some delicious peach wine!
The Wild Bean was very funky and cute. I had the Mutha Fakin BLT, a sandwich on ciabatta with lettuce, tomato, veganaisse, sprouts, avocado, and their homemade fake bacon. It was really tasty! They also have a full coffee shop! Lewisburg is a really cool city...No really, Budget Magazine named it the "Coolest Small Town in America!"
