Wow what a week! I've been suffering some serious jet lag since I returned from Denver last Sunday, and am finally feeling more like myself and less like a zombie. This weekend is gonna be HOT! In fact, they're predicting 104 this afternoon, wow. This evening I'll be hosting my book club for a little wine picnic...here's hoping the shade will be enough protection from the heat! In honor of our celebration I made bundt cupcakes inspired by this recent mouth-watering recipe on Smitten Kitchen. They are delicious. Instead of triple berries, I used some local peaches and blueberries. The icing is a lemon glaze and honestly, they're just as good without it. I'm so excited to visit the farmer's market tomorrow for some summer goodies to taste. Happy weekend everyone!
