I was very fortunate to be on the 49th floor of the Sheraton New Orleans; floor to ceiling windows overlooked the city with a view that stretched all the way to the Gulf. It's a beautiful city, bustling and twinkling at night. The Algiers ferry provided a great view of the cityline from afar, and I never got sick of the amazing balconies in the French Quarter (some day, I will rent one). The giant banana trees in the Quarter are massive and some actually had bananas! Music, lights, movement, color! Ahhh New Orleans!
